This is the perfect sewing course for you if you are a complete beginner wishing to have an introduction to using a sewing machine, learning different sewing techniques and understanding basic sewing patterns.

The course consists of five two hour sessions in which you will be taken from the very basics of setting up and threading a sewing machine to making either a simple skirt or summer dress to show off your newly acquired sewing skills by the end of it. You can choose to use one of the machines available in the village hall, or you can bring your own if you would like to learn to use it.

You can bring an easy made for beginners pattern, such as those by McCalls learn to sew for fun - with sufficient suitable fabric and matching all purpose thread or we have a selection of patterns and fabrics to choose from if you prefer.

Cost: £90 per person for 5 weeks.

BACS, cheque or cash payment..
